Long Grain Parboiled Rice (IR64)

The long grain Parboiled Rice is processed differently than others.  The harvested grains are first soaked, steamed and then dried.  This results in a less sticky rice with a transparent slightly golden grain.  Some nutrients are retained from the hull in processing, giving a rice higher in fibre, calcium, potassium and Vitamin B6
